Description

A Tag:MYC epitope has been incorporated immediately following a heterologous signal sequence used to replace the endogenous signal sequence. This epitope is present at the extracellular N-terminus of the receptor coding region. Expression is driven by Mhc promoter sequences.

In the adult prothorax and neck, Myc-tagged GluRIIB protein is observed at the type I boutons of motor neurons innervating ventral cervical muscle 25 and prothoracic sternal adductor muscle 33 from the first day of adulthood, and ventral cervical muscle 26 from the third day of adulthood. GluRIIB protein is also observed at the type I boutons of all adult abdominal muscles. GluRIIB protein is not detected in Type II boutons.
