cora1-383.hs.Tag:MYC partially rescues cora5
Fails to rescue cora5 animals to adulthood when expressed using heat shock. Rescues the embryonic defects of cora5 animals (dorsal open phenotype, cuticular thinning, necrosis of the salivary glands and tracheal inflation defect) when expressed using heat shock, with some animals hatching into larvae. The normal appearance of the septate junction is also restored in cora5 embryos expressing cora1-383.hs.T:Hsap\MYC and diffusion of rhodamine-dextran across the salivary gland epithelium is restricted (as in wild-type animals). Rescues the growth disadvantage of cora4 clones in the wing imaginal epithelium when expressed using daily heat shock.
Carried in a plasmid and transfected into S2 cells to determine the subcellular localisation of the cora1-383.hs.T:Hsap\MYC protein.
