Position of restriction fragment on reference sequence inferred by FlyBase curator. Expression is influenced by an Hsp70 promoter and SV40 3' sequences.
The transgenic line expressing Met+tSt-H.hs shows higher susceptibility to methoprene than wild-type controls. The increased susceptibility is reflected by the survival values and by the increased fraction of adults from cultures exposed to lower sub-lethal dose that show methoprene-induced morphogenetic defects, such as sternite bristle defects or abnormally rotated male genitalia.
Met+tSt-H.hs rescues Met3
The defective eye phenotype seen in Met27 flies is rescued by Met+tSt-H.hs.
Rescues the ovipositional defects of Rst(1)JH27 homozygous females.
