Expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa in the dorsal region of the wing pouch, with weaker expression ventrally, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 leads to thickening of the L3 and L5 wing veins and a significant reduction in the size of the wing surface resulting in dorsal curling of the wings.

Expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL471B results in a modest number of ectopic sensory organs in a fraction of progeny, such as supernumerary double row bristles along the wing margin at the junction with the L3 wing vein and extra campaniform sensilla along the L3 vein.

Expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 results in a few ectopic bristles anterior to the eye.

PsnScer\UAS.cYa expression under the control of Scer\GAL471B produces a number of thick ectopic sternopleural bristles.

PsnScer\UAS.cYa expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 produces a number of ectopic scutellar macrochaetae.

Co-expression of either Hsap\PRDX1Scer\UAS.cWa, Hsap\PRDX2Scer\UAS.cWa or both, in the developing wing under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, increases the severity of the vein thickening phenotypes seen upon expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa. The wings are also reduced in size and exhibit stronger dorsal curling.

Co-expression of either Hsap\PRDX1Scer\UAS.cWa, Hsap\PRDX2Scer\UAS.cWa or both with PsnScer\UAS.cYa, under the control of Scer\GAL471B greatly increases the severity of ectopic clusters of both double-row bristles and campaniform sensilla and markedly enhances the number of thick ectopic sternopleural bristles.

Co-expression of both Hsap\PRDX1Scer\UAS.cWa, Hsap\PRDX2Scer\UAS.cWa with PsnScer\UAS.cYa, under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 increases the number of ectopic bristles anterior to the eye, compared to expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa alone.

Co-expression of both Hsap\PRDX1Scer\UAS.cWa, Hsap\PRDX2Scer\UAS.cWa enhances the ectopic scutellar macrochaetae phenotype found upon expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096.

Co-expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa, Hsap\PRDX1Scer\UAS.cWa, and Hsap\PRDX2Scer\UAS.cWa with Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 in flies carrying NAx-M1 only results in residual thickening of the L3 and L5 wing veins, which is significantly less severe than that observed in response to expression of PsnScer\UAS.cYa, Hsap\PRDX1Scer\UAS.cWa, and Hsap\PRDX2Scer\UAS.cWa in a wild-type background.

The ectopic scutellar macrochaetae of flies co-expressing PsnScer\UAS.cYa, Hsap\PRDX1Scer\UAS.cWa, and Hsap\PRDX2Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 is nearly completely suppressed by NAx-M1.
