Overexpression of armScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:SV40\nls2, under the regulation of Scer\GAL4da.G32 produces patches of naked cuticle along the ventral midline.

Embryos expressing armScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:SV40\nls2 under the control of Scer\GAL4e22c show a partial loss of denticle belts and their replacement by naked cuticle.

Overexpression of armScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:SV40\nls2, under the regulation of Scer\GAL4da.G32 suppresses the mutant phenotype of pygoS28 embryos which lack both maternal and zygotic pygo function. The degree of suppression varies very little between individual embryos, and is essentially the same as that provided by zygotic pygo expressed from the paternal wild-type allele. Overexpression of armScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:SV40\nls2, under the regulation of Scer\GAL4da.G32 in lgs20F mutants which lack both maternal and zygotic lgs function converts the lgs20F denticle lawn into an entirely naked cuticle along the ventral midline. Overexpression of armScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:SV40\nls2, under the regulation of Scer\GAL4da.G32 suppresses the mutant phenotype of pygoS123 embryos which lack both maternal and zygotic pygo function. The degree of suppression varies very little between individual embryos, and is essentially the same as that provided by zygotic pygo expressed from the paternal wild-type allele.
