Expression of tsgScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in a mild ectopic vein phenotype in the wing.

Expression of tsgScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified causes a weak thick vein phenotype.

Overexpression of sogScer\UAS.cYa together with tsgScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 results in smaller wings with altered patterns of venation.

Co-overexpression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 with sogScer\UAS.cYa and tsgScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 is able to reverse the sogScer\UAS.cYa-tsgScer\UAS.cYa small-wing phenotype and restore normal patterning.

Co-overexpression of tokScer\UAS.cSa.T:Ivir\HA1 with sogu.Scer\UAS and tsgScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 results in a small-wing phenotype and abnormal wing vein patterning.

Coexpression of sogScer\UAS.cYa and tsgScer\UAS.cYa in the wing disc, under the control of Scer\GAL4A9, produces a small wing with altered patterns of venation. Coexpression of either tldA.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 or tokScer\UAS.cSa with these two transgenes is able to reverse the small wing phenotype and restore normal patterning.

When tsgScer\UAS.cYa and cv-2Scer\UAS.cVa are co-expressed under the regulation of Scer\GAL4A9, there is no evidence of strong BMP inhibition. When tsgScer\UAS.cYa and sogScer\UAS.cYa are co-expressed under the regulation of Scer\GAL4A9, there is strong BMP inhibition. Co-expression of tsgScer\UAS.cYa and dppScer\UAS.cHa, under the regulation of Scer\GAL4A9 has no detectable effect on the over expression phenotype of dppScer\UAS.cHa, indicating that tsg alone does not interact with dpp. Co-expression of tsgScer\UAS.cYa and gbbScer\UAS.cKa, under the regulation of Scer\GAL4A9 suppresses the excess gbb phenotype. Co-expression of tsgScer\UAS.cYa and sogScer\UAS.cYa, along with gbbScer\UAS.cKa, under the regulation of Scer\GAL4A9 partially suppresses the excess gbbScer\UAS.cKa wing disruption phenotype.

Expression of sogScer\UAS.cYa and tsgScer\UAS.cYa, but not either alone, driven by Scer\GAL4A9 rescues the wing shape and wing vein phenotype of dppScer\UAS.cHa driven by Scer\GAL4A9. When expression of sogScer\UAS.cYa is driven by Scer\GAL4A9 in combination with tsgScer\UAS.cYa, Hsap\TSGScer\UAS.cRa or Mmus\TsgScer\UAS.cRa, gaps in the distal section of the wing veins occur.

Co-expression of tsgScer\UAS.cYa and sogScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified causes a strong synergistic wing phenotype.
