      Comments

      The addition of futschNterm.Scer\UAS to futschK68 or futschN94 mutants (when driven by Scer\GAL4elav-C155), reverts the mutant phenotype to nearly wild-type. Bouton numbers at muscle 4 are increased from an average of 37.9 to an average to 51.4 in futschN94 mutants and from 40.9 to 52.3 in futschK68 mutants (wild-type is about 64.8). The organisation and localisation of microtubules within the mutant nerve terminal is also partially rescued.
