      Activation of Scer\GAL4Gr5a.5.156 neurons triggers the proboscis extension reflex; depending on the combination of UAS and light used, different numbers of flies show this behavior: around 40 % with blue light activating Crei\ChR2Scer\UAS.cSa, 100% with blue light activating Crei\ChR2H134R.Scer\UAS.2A.T:Avic\GFP-EYFP, 70% with blue light activating Crei\ChR2C128T.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP, 0% with red or green light activating Crei\ChR1[C1V1.T-T.Scer\UAS. T:Avic \GFP-EYFP], 90% or 100% with red or green light respectively activating Crei\ChR1ReaChR.Scer\UAS.T:Crei\ChR2,T:Avic\GFP-mCitrine.
