There are no ultrastructural defects at the photoreceptor terminals in the eyes of endoA^EP464 mutants.

(Fabian-Fine et al., 2003)

endoA^EP927/endoA^EP464 and endoA^EP464/endoA^EP593 transheterozygotes die as pupae. endoA^EP3502/endoA^EP464 transheterozygotes are viable. The addition of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155 rescues endoA^EP464 to viability.
