Scer\GAL4GMR.PU-mediated expression of ebiScer\UAS.cTa rescues the retinal degeneration phenotype seen in 5-week old ebi1-334.GMR/+ flies.

The addition of ebiScer\UAS.cTa (driven by Scer\GAL4elav.PLu) restores cone cell specification to ebiE4/ebi7 mutants.
