Overexpression of Snap24^hs.PN at 22^o completely rescues the mean evoked excitatory junctional potential (EJP) amplitude at the neuromuscular junction in Snap25^ts/Df(3L)1-16 animals and partially reduces the increased miniature EJP frequency of Snap25^ts/Df(3L)1-16 animals. At 37^oC, overexpression of Snap24^hs.PN partially rescues the reduction in EJP amplitude seen in Snap25^ts/Df(3L)1-16 animals. Expression of Snap24^hs.PN in Snap25^ts adults shifts the temperature of paralysis from 35^o to 38^o. The electroretinogram defects of Snap25¹²⁴ pharate adults are rescued by expression Snap24^hs.PN.
