Embryos derived from Sir205327a/+ ; RpII140wimp/+ females (mated to wild-type males) die and show anterior-posterior patterning defects, including loss of segments and pairwise denticle band fusions. Sir205327a does not show a dominant synthetic lethal interaction with Rpd304556, groE47, eve1.27, run3 or CtBP03463.

Separable from: l(2)05327b05327b. The lethality of the "l(2)05327" chromosome is not due to the P{PZ}Sir205327a insertion, but is due to a second site lethal (l(2)05327b05327b).
