The overgrowth and increased number of progenitor cells characteristic for cnoR2;scrib1 clones is not significantly suppressed by Scer\GAL4Dll-md23-driven expression of cnoΔN.Scer\UAS in the mutant clones.

The dorsal closure defects seen in embryos expressing RN17.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 are not rescued by co-expression of cnoΔN.Scer\UAS.

Comments

Expression of cnoΔN.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 partially rescues the dorsal closure defects of cno2 embryos, although the ability of cnoΔN.Scer\UAS to rescue is strongly reduced compared to the ability of cnoScer\UAS.cBa to rescue; 35% of embryos rescued by cnoΔN.Scer\UAS show a closed cuticle compared to 92% of embryos rescued by cnoScer\UAS.cBa.
