Heterozygosity for Hdac3B leads to moderate suppression of the eye colour variegation found in In(1)wm4 mutants.

At 29oC, Hdac3B/Snr1E1 double heterozygotes have an ectopic wing vein phenotype; 5% have normal wings, 58% have an ectopic vein emanating from the posterior crossvein and 37% have ectopic veins emanating from the posterior crossvein and posterior to the L5 longitudinal vein.
