Induction of Hr46EY10268 in the developing wing disc under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 does not visibly affect wing development.

Induction of Hr46EY10268 in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH does not visibly affect eye development.

Homozygous Hr46EY10268 and trans-heterozygous Hr46EY05451/Hr46EY10268 mutants are semi-lethal at the larval stage. The few larvae that undergo metamorphosis are delayed and exhibit a significant reduction in body weight. The adult escapers emerge with an approximate 2-day delay, and display female sterility.
