      Compared to sibling control larvae, Spc25c00064 mutants have only rudimentary imaginal discs and small brains.

      FlyBase curator comment: as the lethality of larvae with the PBac{PB}granny-smithc00064 insertion is rescued by expression of a Spc25 genomic transgene, it seems that the lethality is due to an effect on Spc25 rather than granny-smith.

      FlyBase curator comment: the PBac{PB}granny-smithc00064 insertion results in homozygous lethality, but since the insertion is within both the granny-smith and CG7242 transcription units, it is unclear whether the lethality is due to an effect on granny-smith or CG7242 (or both).
