DL1 olfactory projection neuron clones expressing Dscam1exon17.1.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GH146 exhibit ectopic dendrite arborization and loss of the dorsal branch in the lateral horn.

Overexpression of Dscam1exon17.1.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP in da neurons, under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG results in a 24% increase in presynaptic growth.

Mushroom body gross morphology appears normal in animals expressing Dscamexon17.1.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107. However, the mushroom body calyx is reduced in size.
