Overexpression of pathGS13857, under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, increases both ommatidial and overall eye size.

When pathGS11111 and pathGS13857 are coexpressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF the resulting eyes bulge more from the head capsule and the ommatidial array is mildly disorganised.

pathGS13857 overexpression in the posterior wing compartment of the wing, driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E, produces an increase in cell size, even though wing area is reduced. Likewise, expression of pathGS13857 in the wing, driven by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, leads to a reduction in wing size.
