      Embryos produced by mothers that carry the piwibcd.3'UTR.T:Hsap\MYC transgene, which leads to the localization of piwi at the anterior of the embryo, show no ectopic formation of pole cells. These embryos show no anterior patterning or morphology defects and are not embryonic lethal.
