Reference

Approximately 10% of larvae expressing Sp7^{Scer\UAS.P\T.T:ea} under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act show constitutive melanization. Most of the larvae develop into pupae, of which approximately 40% show constitutive melanization. Most of these melanized pupae die, and approximately 50% of animals expressing Sp7^{Scer\UAS.P\T.T:ea} under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act survive to adulthood, of which approximately 5% show constitutive melanization.
