The wings of y² ct⁶; Cp190^H4-1 male flies are rounder in shape, suggesting that ct⁶ is partially suppressed, whereas the bristles are yellow, indicating that the y² phenotype is altered. The body cuticle colour is only slightly darker in the background of the Cp190^H4-1 mutation.
