Expression of enGD13214 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results in reduced cell mixing at the segment boundary during dorsal closure in the embryo, with 40% of segments showing partial or no mixing (in wild-type embryos, a "mixer cell" moves across the segment boundary from the anterior compartment to the posterior compartment at the end of dorsal closure).

Adults expressing enGD13214 under the control of the cardioblast-specific Scer\GAL4tin.CΔ4 driver show significantly reduced survival on day 6 after a shift to 29[o]C compared to control flies.

Adults expressing enGD13214 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Depending on the insertion line used, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR can result in defects in wing posture.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in semi-lethality, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in mild thorax closure defects.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in an enlarged notum.

Co-expressing enGD13214 and invHMS02209 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR42B09 induces mild-to-strong ovary defects and females lay significantly fewer eggs than controls.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The mild-to-strong ovary defects and the decreased egg laying induced by the co-expression of enGD13214 and invHMS02209 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR42B09 are enhanced by one copy of Ecol\lacZbab-P.
