      Flies expressing norpAGD10490 under the control of either Scer\GAL4TrpA1.PR or Scer\GAL4Orco.2.642.T:Hsim\VP22 show significantly reduced avoidance of citronellal in a direct airborne repellent test (DART) assay.

      Adults expressing norpAGD10490 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
