Expression of pdm2Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 using Scer\GAL4wor.PA or Scer\GAL4sca-109-68 delays quiescence of thoracic neuroblast 3-3.

Embryos expressing pdm2Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4pros.PMG have normal U1-U4 neuronal identity. However, these embryos typically have four or more supernumerary U5 neurons within thoracic segments and a similar, but weaker, supernumerary U5 neuron phenotype in abdominal segments.

Embryos expressing pdm2Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E have supernumerary U5 neurons and show partial loss of U4 and U3 neurons.

Co-expression of hbScer\UAS.cWa and pdm2Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 in neuroblast NB7-1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E produces an average of nine U neurons per hemisegment.

Co-expression of casScer\UAS.cKa and pdm2Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in embryos which have normal U1/U2 neurons, but show a loss of the U3/U4 neurons and extra U5 neurons.

Embryos expressing pdm2Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4pros.PMG in a cas39/cas39 background have ectopic U4 neurons.
