    auxL78H/auxW328X animals expressing auxΔJ.Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mRFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI die before the larval stage.

    Homozygous auxW328X mutants die before larval stage.

    Mutant animals of heteroallelic combinations for auxW328X/auxI670K can occasionally survive until adulthood when raised at 18oC. They eye phenotypes of these animals, although raised at 18oC, are more drastic than the eye roughness exhibited by auxI670K homozygotes at 25oC.
