Tgs1um.t4.6 partially rescues Df(3R)d189/Df(3R)d192
Tgs1um.t4.6 fails to rescue Df(3R)d189/Df(3R)d192
The presence of P{CaSpeR-DTLum} (expressing wild type Tgs1) delays the lethality phase of Df(3R)d192/Df(3R)d189 and P{lacW}moiS096713/Df(3R)d189 animals, with these animals now dying at the early pupa stage or hatching, respectively. However, aberrant telomere associations in Df(3R)d192/Df(3R)d189 larval neuroblasts are not rescued.
The P3-P4 early pupal lethality seen in P{lacW}moiS096713/Df(3R)d189 animals is partially rescued by P{CaSpeR-DTLum} (which carries tatlum.t4.6 and moium.t4.6); animals die as pharate adults or immediately after hatching.
The P3-P4 early pupal lethality seen in P{lacW}moiS096713/Df(3R)d189 animals is completely rescued by P{CaSpeR-DTLdm} and P{CaSpeR-DTLum} together in trans.
