spindle microtubule & oocyte, with Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR
Females expressing subCT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 show a high level of X chromosome meiotic nondisjunction compared to control females. 8/10 oocytes studied have abnormal microtubule organisation such as tripolar, monopolar or frayed spindles or spindles lacking interpolar microtubules.
Expression of subCT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 in sub1794/+ females results in reduced numbers of progeny.
Expression of subCT.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 in sub1794/sub1 females results in sterility.
subCT.UASp.EGFP/Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR fails to rescue subunspecified/sub1794
