      Females expressing NPFRJF01959 under the control of Scer\GAL4NP1624, but not Scer\GAL4NP0001, fail to show the expected mating-induced increase in germline stem cells in the germarium, as compared to controls.

      Expression of NPFRJF01959 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU in adult females significantly increases locomotor activity in fed conditions, compared to controls; like controls, locomotor activity is significantly increased under starvation conditions.
