ScerGAL4^{nolo-GSG1802-2} drives mifepristone-inducible expression primarily neuronally. Strong expression is observed in 2-4 cells per hemisegment at dorsal midline (no A1-7 dorsal motor neurons), in clusters of ~10-20 lateral cells per hemisegment, 10+ ventral cells per hemisegment, and in longitudinal processes that project along the VL FasII axon tract. Strong expression in several small clusters of cells in the brain, each cluster contains ~3-10 cells. Strong expression is observed in type Ib boutons of neuromuscular junctions of most muscles; no expression is oberved in type II boutons. Very faint uninduced expression is observed in the salivary glands and in an occasional weak CNS midline cell.
