ScerGAL4^GSG3705 drives mifepristone-inducible expression primarily neuronally. Strong ventral nerve cord expression is observed in 5 dorsal midline cells per hemisegment, including A1-7 dorsal motor neurons. Ventral nerve cord expression is also observed in lateral cell clusters of 15+ cells per hemisegment, 2 ventral midline cells/hemisegment, and 20+ ventral cells/hemisegment, and in longitudinal processes project along CI FasII axon tracts and faint projections along the DM axon tract. Strong expression in clusters of cells throughout brain, some with projections to contralateral hemispheres. Weak expression is observed in abdominal intersegmental bidendritic neuron isbps (lbd), abdominal ventral bipolar neuron vbps (vbd), chordotonal organs, and a subset of multidendritic neurons. Strong expression is observed in type Is, Ib, and II boutons of most neuromuscular junctions. Expression is observed in imagainal discs. Little detectable uninduced expression: weak expression at dorsal CNS midline.
