ScerGAL4^GSG8892 drives primarily mifepristone-inducible neuronal expression. In the ventral nerve cord, there is moderate expession in ~3-5 dorsal midline and ~1-2 ventral midline cells/hemisegment, as well as in a lateral cell cluster and additional ventral cells. There is also expression observed in longitudinal processes visible at a dorso-lateral position, likely including processes in Fas2 DM axon tracts (DM fascicle). There is moderate expression in the mushroom bodies and in additional cells throughout the brain. There is weak expression observed at the neuromuscular junctions visible on muscles 3, 4, 6, 7, 12 and 14. There is weak expression observed in chordotonal organ and externals sensory organ support cells, with possible expression in external sensory neurons.
