      Comments

      nosTCEIIUC.AG rescues the abdominal segmentation defects of embryos produced by nosBN females and defects in anterior development are not seen in these embryos. Germ cells aggregate to form clusters of variable size and shape in these embryos and the aggregations are often at ectopic locations. The germ cells within these clusters are smaller than wild type and are irregularly shaped. Female adults that develop from these embryos show dramatically reduced egg production compared to age matched controls.
