The photoreceptor depigmentation phenotype characteristic for adult flies expressing either Dronc^UAS.cSa or Dronc^{S130A.UAS.cSa} under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PFa is enhanced by Usp8^KK100733.

The small rough eyes observed in flies expressing rpr^Scer\UAS.C under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PFa is only partially suppressed (the size is rescued but not the rough appearance) by co-expression of Dark^KK104215, combination of Dark^KK104215 with another transgene, Usp8^KK100733 does not strengthen the rescue. Co-expression of Usp8^KK100733 alone has no effect on the rpr^Scer\UAS.C-induced eye phenotype.
