Expression of Su(var)205^KK110828 is lethal with the Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PI driver and results in: small rough eye phenotype (with the Scer\GAL4^ey.PH driver), crinkled and blistered or notched wings (with Scer\GAL4^nub.PK), absent or notched posterior part of the wing (with Scer\GAL4^en.PU). Expression controlled by Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF has no overt adult phenotype.

The notched wing margin phenotype observed in flies expressing Su(var)205^KK110828 under the control of either Scer\GAL4^en.PU or Scer\GAL4^nub.PK is suppressed by co-expression of htt^GD14943, while the wing blister phenotype (observed with the Scer\GAL4^nub.PK driver) is enhanced. Similarly, the wing notches (using the Scer\GAL4^en.PU driver) are also suppressed by combination with htt^int. At 18[o]C the flies co-expressing both Su(var)205^KK110828 and htt^GD14943 frequently display ectopic vein at the posterior cross vein.
