    Reference

Flies trans-heterozygous for sxc7 and sxc1, sxc3, sxc4 or sxc5 develop into pharate adults showing a typical sxc mutant phenotype.

sxc2/sxc7 flies are viable and fertile, but exhibit wing abnormalities suggestive of wing-to-haltere transformations.

FlyBase Curator comment: The authors state that Df(2R)NC32 equates to the sxc7 point mutation. However, unresolved discrepancies between their data and that of Myster et al. (FBrf0174713) mean that it isn't appropriate or feasible to merge the Df(2R)NC32 and sxc7 reports at this time (August 2009).
