Scer\GAL4sd.PU-mediated expression of RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa moderately reduces wing size.

Scer\GAL4sd.PU- or Scer\GAL4en.PU-mediated expression of RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa weakly induces cell death in wing discs.

70% of flies expressing RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa via Scer\GAL4en.PU have wing blisters.

Wing discs of Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa larvae show similar levels of developmental apoptosis as wild type controls.

Animals expressing RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E show progressive lethality throughout embryonic and larval development (approximately 50% of the embryos die during embryogenesis).

Animals expressing RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E that survive to secrete cuticle show an aberrant pattern of segmentation with severe disruption of the pattern of denticle belts, but no detectable homeotic transformations. The pattern of both the anterior and the posterior compartments is disrupted. This phenotype is highly variable in penetrance and expressivity.

Adult survivors expressing RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E have wings which are blistered in the posterior compartment. The overall size of the wing is reduced, with a 45% reduction in the posterior compartment and a 35% reduction in the anterior compartment (the effect in the anterior compartment is non-autonomous).

Adult survivors expressing RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4ci.PC have wings which are blistered in the anterior compartment. The overall size of the wing is reduced.

Expression of RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of one of Scer\GAL4arm.PS, Scer\GAL4da.G32 or Scer\GAL4tub does not produce blistered wings.

Embryos expressing RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of either Scer\GAL4en-e16E or Scer\GAL4ci.PC show a normal pattern of apoptosis.

Scer\GAL4sd.PU-mediated expression of both SkpAHM05185 and RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa reduces wing size to a greater extent than expression of either transgene alone.

Scer\GAL4sd.PU-mediated expression of both slmbHMS00946 and RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa results in a more severe wing phenotype than expression of either transgene alone.

Scer\GAL4sd.PU-mediated expression of both Cul1GD9650 and RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa results in flies completely lacking wing tissue.

Scer\GAL4en.PU-mediated expression of both SkpAHM05185 and RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa increases cell death in the wing disc to a greater extent than expression of either transgene alone.

Co-expression of rprGD4698 completely suppresses the appearance of wing blisters in RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa Scer\GAL4en.PU flies.

Co-expression of Diap1Scer\UAS.cUa reduces the penetrance of wing blisters in RYBPdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cGa Scer\GAL4en.PU flies.
