ScerGAL4^ci.PC drives expression in a pattern similar to that of endogenous ci expression. At embryonic stages, the expression pattern is delayed; ubiquitous expression is observed at embryonic stage 10, vs. stage 5 for endogenous ci. This pattern resolves to 15 stripes, localized to the anterior of each segment, by embryonic stage 15/16; for endogenous ci, the pattern resolves to stripes by stage 10. In larvae, ScerGAL4^ci.PC drives expression in the anterior compartment in wing and leg discs.
