The continual expression of wgCTD.UAS.Tag:MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU produces small and deformed wings, and the posterior region of the wing disc is smaller than the anterior region. However, acute expression for 10h during mid-third instar larval stage (under the additional control of Gal80[ts]) produces significantly larger wings than in controls.

The continual expression of wgCTD.UAS.Tag:MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU also produces small and deformed wings, without ectopic bristles in the wing margin. Transient expression of wgCTD.UAS.Tag:MYC under the combined control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU and Gal80[ts] does not induce ectopic bristles in the wing margin.

The continual expression of wgCTD.UAS.Tag:MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc.PU leads to significantly increased mitotic index in the wing disc ptc-positive domain, and produces notched wings.

The continual expression under the control of either Scer\GAL4wg-Gal4 or Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 leads to normal wings, without notches.

The continual expression of wgCTD.UAS.Tag:MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ci.PC produces small and rough eyes.

Transient expression of wgCTD.UAS.Tag:MYC under the combined control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU and Gal80[ts] does not induce ectopic bristles in the wing margin.
