Expression of KCNQJF02562 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 in adults does not affect the threshold to heat-induced seizures, compared to controls.

Expression of KCNQJF02562 under the control of Scer\GAL4SLC5A11.1.1 or Scer\GAL4GMR38H02 in adults abolishes the significant decrease in preference for nutritive sugars seen in fed versus starved flies, compared to controls.

Expression of KCNQJF02562 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU causes a significant impairment of initial 2 min memory and 1 hour memory compared to controls. Expression of KCNQJF02562 under the control of Scer\GAL4c316, Scer\GAL4ey-OK107, Scer\GAL4[Mef2.247] or Scer\GAL4c305a leads to significant impairment of 1 hour memory, but not initial 2 min memory compared to controls. Expression of KCNQJF02562 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107, in combination with a Gal80[ts] transgene to restrict expression to the adult stage, also reduces 1 hour memory. Expression of KCNQJF02562 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 or Scer\GAL4c316 does not cause alterations in olfactory acuity or shock reactivity compared to controls.
