        Reference

        stj expression (assayed via stj-GAL4-driven GFP) is observed in the brain and ventral nerve cord of larvae and adults. In the visual system it is observed in the axons and terminals of photoreceptor cells as well as in the optic lobe. Comparison to other neuronal markers indicates that it is expressed in a subset of motor and interneurons in the larvarl CNS.
