    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

Homozygous third instar larvae show a significant increase in bouton size at the neuromuscular junction compared to controls. Bouton number is normal.

Mutant larvae show a significant increase in evoked excitatory junctional current amplitude and width compared to controls. There is a significant increase in spontaneous miniature EJC frequency compared to controls.

sloMB11481 is a suppressor | partially of NMJ bouton phenotype of dyscs168

sloMB11481 is a suppressor of NMJ bouton phenotype of dyscc03838

    Additional Comments
    Genetic Interactions
    Statement
    Reference

Bouton size at the neuromuscular junction in dyscs168 sloMB11481 double mutant larvae is significantly increased compared to wild type, but is not significantly different from that seen in dyscs168 single mutants. The reduction in bouton number at the neuromuscular junction seen in dyscs168 larvae is suppressed in dyscs168 sloMB11481 double mutant larvae.

Bouton size at the neuromuscular junction in dyscc03838 sloMB11481 double mutant larvae is significantly increased compared to wild type, but is not significantly different from that seen in dyscc03838 single mutants. The reduction in bouton number at the neuromuscular junction seen in dyscc03838 larvae is suppressed in dyscc03838 sloMB11481 double mutant larvae.

Evoked excitatory junctional currents (EJCs) in dyscc03838 sloMB11481 double mutant larvae have the same phenotypes as in either single mutant. Miniature EJC frequency in dyscc03838 sloMB11481 double mutant larvae is not significantly different from that in either single mutant.
