      The reduced diameter of the tracheal dorsal trunk that is seen in stenG200/stenH24 embryos is rescued by expression of stenScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS.

      Expression of stenScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Abd-B-LDN locally rescues tracheal tube dilation and taenidia formation exclusively in Tr10 (the posteriormost tracheal metamere), where Scer\GAL4Abd-B-LDN is expressed.

      Expression of stenScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4tub in single cell clones in the trachea in a stenG200 background results in autonomous rescue of apical membrane growth, lumen diameter and taenidia formation.
