nemy reporter expression is observed in the larval CNS. It is observed in neuronal cell bodies in the protocerebrum and in the subesophageal ganglion. It is observed in a pair of neurons in the anterior part of the brain with descending axons projection through the brain and ventral ganglion. It is also expressed in the midline cells in the axons descending down all of the neuromeres of the VNC, A8 neurons, and several pairs of lateral neurons assumed to be sensory neurons. In the adult, expression is observed in the antennal lobes and in the mushroom bodies, particularly in the alpha- beta- and gamma-lobes and in the peduncle, calyx, and in Kenyon cells bodies. Expression is also observed in the pars intercerebralis and in several distinct cell bodies and neuron clusters around the mushroom bodies, antennal lobes, and in the subesophageal neuromeres. Punctate expression was also observed in the minor population of lateral cells that border the optic lobe
