      Embryos expressing VhldsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS have tracheal migration defects, including abnormal and ectopic branches. They also have tracheal lumen defects, with a dilated dorsal trunk and tortuous tracheal branches (37% of embryos).

      The mutant tracheal phenotypes (ectopic migration and abnormal lumen) seen in embryos expressing VhldsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS are significantly rescued by co-expression of VhlScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, but are not rescued by co-expression of either VhlRQ.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 or VhlYH.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1.
