      ScerGAL4eater.PT drives expression in the cortical zone of the lymph gland primary lobe from mid-third instar larval stage (96-120 hr AEL). Expression starts earlier in circulating plasmatocytes, and is first detected at the beginning of the second larval instar, continuing throughout larval development (48-120 hr AEL).

      ScerGAL4eater.PT drives expression in plasmatocytes. The expression pattern is comparable to endogenous eater gene expression. In mechanically stressed larvae, expression is also observed in plasmatocytes in the cortical zone of the lymph gland primary lobe.
