Scer\GAL4Gr10a.3.7 drives expression in one gustatory receptor neuron of the larval terminal organ that has its cell body in the dorsal organ ganglion (TO-dorsolateral group). This neuron also expresses Scer\GAL4Gr33a.4.7, Scer\GAL4Gr66a.1.8 and Scer\GAL4Gr32a.3.7.PW.
Optogenetic activation (using Cnoc\ChR1Cs.IVS.20xUAS.Venus with 625 nm (red) light) of Scer\GAL4Gr10a.3.7 cells in larvae increases the probability of ending a run and initiating a turn, compared to baseline conditions.
Ablation (using hidUAS.cUa and rprUAS.C) of Scer\GAL4Gr10a.3.7 cells in larvae does not affect bitter avoidance, compared to controls.
