Inhibition (using Ctet\tetXTNT-LC.UAS) of Scer\GAL4GMR72F11 cells significantly reduces larval escape behavior in response to HCl application, compared to controls.
Activating Scer\GAL4GMR72F11 neurons triggers rolling behavior in a significant fraction of larvae and inhibiting these neurons significantly decreases rolling in response to bimodal stimulation (activation of Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 neurons along with vibration-induced activation of mechanosensory chordotonal neurons).
