Q110term
Site of nucleotide substitution in mutant inferred by FlyBase based on reported amino acid change. The mutation was mapped to residue 109 in the reference sequence even though residue 110 (the reported location) is also Gln because the locations of the other two mutations mapped from FBrf0212286 differed by one in the reference sequence relative to the reported position.
Zif1L15 mutant clones exhibit supernumerary neuroblast-like cells (labeled by mira).
Zif1L15 mutant type-I neuroblast clones exhibit an overgrowth of neuroblast formation. This occurs at the expense of neuron formation, as very few elav-positive neurons are observed in these clones. Type-II Zif1L15 clones exhibit an increased number of neuroblasts.
Zif1L15 has abnormal neuroanatomy | somatic clone phenotype, suppressible by aPKCk06403/aPKC[+]
Zif1L15 has abnormal neuroanatomy | somatic clone phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4elav-C155/l(2)gl3A.UASp
Zif1L15 has neuroblast | increased number | somatic clone phenotype, suppressible by aPKCk06403/aPKC[+]
Zif1L15 has neuroblast | increased number | somatic clone phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4elav-C155/l(2)gl3A.UASp
The neuroblast overgrowth phenotype seen in Zif1L15 mutant clones is significantly suppressed in a aPKCk06403 heterozygous background.
Overexpression of l(2)gl3A.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 suppresses the neuroblast overgrowth phenotype found in Zif1L15 mutant clones.
