    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

ebiP7/ebiW418X wings are 83% the size of control wings. Wing cell size is unaffected - the wing size reduction is the result of fewer cells. Gross defects in wing patterning are not apparent. There is no significant decrease in the size of other organs or the whole organism.

ebiP7/ebiW418X larval wing discs have visibly smaller wing pouches.

Macrochaetes on ebiP7/ebiW418X nota are stunted and form in ectopic positions.

No or very few ebiW418X clones survive to late third instar stage when induced at 48 hours after egg deposition (AED), and survival is not improved by inducing clones in a Minute/+ background. Clones induced at 72 hours AED do survive, but are very small.
