Expression of gro^{Nterm.Scer\UAS} under the control of Scer\GAL4^sd-SG29.1 results in large nicks in the wing margin and disruption of the wing venation pattern. In addition, the overall size of the wing is reduced. Wing to notum transformations are seen in 5% of cases.

Expression of gro^{Nterm.Scer\UAS} under the control of Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 results in disruptions in the wing venation pattern and a slight reduction in the size of the wing.
